Goodslice is driven by the passion and heritage of Flavio Giannino, born and raised in Naples, the birthplace of Neapolitan pizza.
Growing up in Italy, Flavio was surrounded by food, family, and tradition. Pizza wasn’t just something you ate, it was part of everyday life. Those early experiences shaped his respect for simplicity, quality ingredients, and the importance of doing things properly.
After bringing his craft to the Sunshine Coast, Flavio built Goodslice around the same principles he grew up with in Naples. Dough made fresh in-house, naturally fermented, hand-stretched, and baked at high heat. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just honest pizza made the way it’s meant to be.
For Flavio, pizza is about balance. A light, airy crust. A soft, juicy centre. Flavours that speak for themselves. Every pizza that leaves the kitchen reflects his roots, his experience, and his commitment to authenticity.
Today, Flavio leads Goodslice as founder and head chef, shaping its menu, its culture, and its future. What you taste at Goodslice is more than pizza. It’s a piece of Naples, served fresh on the Sunshine Coast.
